SHANGHAI'S MAY 30.
TO-DAY'S COMMEMORATION.
To-day is May 30, of tragic Shanghai memory, and the follow- ing, from a Northern paper, is of apecial interest:
Preparations for the celebration of May 30 continue to be made by Chinese publie organizations in Shanghai. It is now proposed that all places of amusement be closed on that day and that black arm- bands be worn by all Chinese.
A resolution passed by the or- ganization committee requests Mr. Kuo Tai-chi, Commissioner of For olga Affairs, to notify the Consular Body of these celebrations and to suggest that there be no interfer- ence by the Settlement Police with the speakers.
The various committees suggest" A quiet but general celebration on that day, with specches in every school building, hall and theatre. It is understood that no disturbances I will be tolerated by General Yang Hu, who is the Shanghai Defence Commissioner.

What is urgently needed in such cases is a new supply of pure, rich, health-and-strength-restoring blood, just the kind of blood which results from a course of Dr. Wil- liams' Pink Pills for Pale.
