1.-King's Birthday Parade. The Corps will take part in the above mentioned parade which will take place at 8.45 am, on Friday, 3rd June, 1927, at Happy Valley. All members who are willing to turn out will give their names to their Unit Commanders ny early as possible.

Special trams will leave the East Bound Stopping Place foot of Garden Road.

BROWN CUP WON BY
12TH BATTERY..
The annual race for the Brown Rowing Cup took place on Wednes day afternoon, and resulted in a victory for the 12th Heavy Battery, Royal Artillery, with the 23rd Heavy Battery a good second and the Royal Engineers and Signals third." The only other competitors were the 2nd Battalion, King's Own Scottish Bor- derers.
Licut-Commander Leveson-Gower, R.N., get the four gigs off to a very good start near Channel Rocks. The 3rd Battery early catablishod a lend and kept it until about two-thirds of the courao had been completed, when the 12th Battery came away and kept in front for the remainder of the dis- tance. The finish of the 2,000 yards course was a line opposite the Royal Hongkong Yacht Club, and the 12th Battery crossed the first in the splendid time of D mins, 42 secs.," the 23rd Battery heing only another eight seconds behind. The R. E. and Signals tock 10 mins. 40 secs, and the Borderers 10 mins. 50 secs.
The winning crew was comprised of Bomb, Norris (Strike), Gunnor French, Bomb. J. Smith, Gunners Donny, Blanchard and Soy, with Llcut-Colonel Gunn, R. A,, hs ecx.
