A Perfect Combination of Cod-Liver Oil & Malt Extract Everyone knows that when the body is under nourished the gates of resistance are thrown open to the attacks of disease- producing germs. Cod-Liver Oil in the form of Bynol' is the ideal guardian of the gates. It is one of the most wonderful body-building agents known to medical science and an exceptionally rich source of vitamins necessary to growth and well being. The addition of the Malt Extract renders Bynol' easily and quickly assimilable and moreover entirely masks the unpleasant flavour of the oil...

OBITUARY.
THE LATE MR. EUGENE..
WASON.
Mr. Eugene Wason, formerly M.P. for Clackmannan and Kinross, died Inst month in London.
Mr. Wason died at his London. house, 8 Sussex Gardens, Hyde Park, from heart failure following- an attack of influenza. He was in his eighty-second year, was the son of the late Mr. Rigby Wason, M.P. for Ipswich, and was himself a well-known Parliamentary figure for many years. He represented South Ayrshire in the Liberal in- terest from 1885 to 1886, when he was defeated, and again from 1892 to 1895. Subsequently he sat for Clackmannan and Kinross for near- ly twenty years, retiring in 1913. He twice defeated the present Lord Younger. Mr. Wason was made a Privy Councillor in 1907.
Early in life he was called to the Ear, but after two years practise he was disbarred at his own re- quest, and four years later was ad- mitted a solicitor. In 1886 he was struck off the Roila, and the follow- ing week was re-admitted to the Bar, thus having the unique experi- "ence of having been both disbarred and struck off the Rolls but each time at his own request.
His brother, Mr. Cathcart Wason, was also in the House of Commons during part of the time that Mr. Eugene Wason was a member and attracted much attention from the fact that he frequently engaged in knitting during the sittings of the House.
