The increasing popularity of the light six-cylinder car has induced many manufacturers to expori- ment with models of this kind. Thore seoms, however, a very marked indication that the pro- ducts of the firms who have had long experience in designing and building aix-cylinder engines are preferred. The light six-cylinder: engine is by no means an easy type to manufacture, and it is certainly one which calls for very careful selection of material and most accurate workmanship.
