Two Health Centres for children of pre-school age have been open- every Thursday morning for the the last four years, where children are weighed, measured, and ex- amined by a physician, and the mothers are given instruction in the care of their children. The average Attendance of children during the past year has been forty Six. Four babies have come every possible time, five babies have been absent twice, and sixteen babies have been absent ten times during the year. A course of six lectures on baby Welfare was Mothers.

A committee of seven, composed of mothers, teachers, and club leaders, is responsible for this de- partment. Tho Senior "Pioneer Club has a membership of thirty. This club supported an evening school giving Popular Education to forty five girls who have had no other opportunity of studying.
There are two Junior Clubs in two churches, the Rhenish Mission and the Congregational Church, with a tolal membership of fifty three. A five-weeks' course of training for club leaders was given, attended by eighteen girls repre- senting seven churches, schools, and other organizations. These girls have now organized them- selves into a club, meeting once a month, with the purpose of working. out a suitable club programme for younger Chinese girls.
