REDEMPTION TO BE MADE IN TREASURY NOTES.
Washington, March 8. In anticipation of the call of the second Liberty Bonds Mr. Mellon, Secretary of the Treasury, lias aunpuneed the issue on the 15th of three and a half per cent. five your treasury notes in ex- change for second Liberty Loan converted four and a quarter per cent. bonds. The latter will be called in for redemption on and after November 15. The new notes will be called in for redemption. on and after March 15, 1930. The number issuable is limited to the amount of the second Liberty Loan bands tendered and accopted. -Reuter'a American Service.
