On his twenty-fifth visit to the United States, each one made in the interests of the automobile industry. Sir William declared that the English: Willys-Ovorland company is experiencing a very successful era with the most com- plete line in the history of the or ganization.
The message of prosperity in motor car industry in England is received with great interost in American financial centres since. the general prosperity of this in- dustry reflects to the good of 'business conditions in general. This in spite of the adveres effects of the prolonged coal strike. The chief effect of the coal stoppage, he said, has heen. to interfere with the supply of raw material.
On his arrival in Toledo,--Si William gave the first hint of Willys-Overland plans to keep in advance of the Europeau man- ufacturers in supplying the Old World with cars of a popular type, "I came here to consult with

"These cars are vory popular, not only in England but on the continent as well. The Willys- Knight sleeve-valve ongine used in this car is of the saine type as that in the Daimler cars, which are used by their Majasties, the King and Queen of England and by many of the most distinguish- ed people of Britain.
"Four-wheel brakoe," Sir William said, "are firmly estab- lished in Europe. In fact, a not so equipped is a noticeable exception."
