A British Master Motor

If you could visit any one of the seven huge Morr.s factories in Eng and, you would, know at once why no engine, in any car, at any price, gives more con- sistent low-cost unning than the Morris master motor.

From all over the world comes daily proof that the "heart" of the Morris car is a master product-tuned to mechanical perfection-bult of best. British material for a long life of faithful service. No wonder so many motorists are changing over to the Morris. Have you tried out a new

No Price War

Expected:

O

Automobile prices are still on sound basis in the opinion of two-leading executives in the industry, and the possibility of a prico war is farthest from their minds, says the Wall Street Journal. It is pointed out that changes in prices which have boon made ro- cently by "sama large producers. ware in the form of adjustments designed .to meet individual situations of the Companics con- cerned and will not result in general price-cutting.

The recent reduction of $100 on one well known car has brought the price situation up.for consideration by many other Companies, " the journal says. While officials are loathe to discuss price policies for com petitive reasons, it is learned in banking quarters closely in touch with the situation that the con- sensus among such representa- tive Companies as General Mctors; Dodge, Chryslar, Willys-Overland and Studebaker is to maintain the present price structure until either an increase or decrease in costs of production justifies a change. Due to tho narrow margin of profit on which many Companies have been. operating, it is believed that any offort to force prices below the present compotitive level is like- ly to result in a sharp reduction in profits with little if any com- pensating gain in volume...

It is no longer necessary to drain. craakease oil every 500 miles. Four changes of oil a year are enough, when you own a 1927 Bulch.

The crankcase in the 1927 Buick is vacuum cleaned! A vital new im provement the Vacuum Ventila tor-draws all the crankcase: vapors cut into the open before. they have an opportunity to do harm.

Now, all that is necessary is to 'add oil occasionally and change 4 times a year, simply as a super- caution.

"The problem for years has been to stop oil dilution. And now Buick has accomplished it!
