I will read a rough translation of an advertisement which has appeared in a local Chinese news paper announcing the sale of monkey-flesh for the medicinal value it is claimed to posess. I will admit it is a subtie method of advertising. There is a certain sense of humour in calling a stew of monkey-flesh seasoned. with herbs by the warlike announce- ment of

The advertisement is in the fof- -lowing terms:
