Washington, Dec. 28. New York Oity medical officers recently alleged that the poisoning. of nearly a hundred persons, of whom sixteen have hitherto died, is mostly due to the Federal Gov ernment's use of wood alcohol in denaturing grain alcohol for indus trial purposes.
