CLUB'S CHANCES. IN "SIM" SHIELD.

Local hockey enthusiasts have been following with interest the opening stage of the competition for the "Sim" Shield, and if the Club can come up to scratch and win their first game in the competition, all the three competing teams will be level, and there will be three more games to be play- ed. The sailors and soldiers took the lead this season, and have played their two games within week, before the Club has played any at all, and the ability of the latter, still a bit of a mystery and open to speculation.
