"Peking, Nov. 19. The results of the conference of, Fongtienites in Tientsin are now becoming apparent, though an off- cial statement has not been issued. The Fongtienites undoubtedly con- sider the advance of the Kuomin- chun through Shenal a distinct monace, and have decided they must attempt to overthrow the Kuominchun immediately.
It is understood Wu Pel-fu and. the Shens Tupan, Yen Hsi-shan, concur in this.
Wu Pei-fu has already despatch- ed reinforcements to assist Lou Chen-hua, who was forced to aban don the siege of Sianfu and fall, back on the Shensi-Honan border, and it is believed Wu Pei-fu will place himself at the head of these reinforcements.
Yen Hsi-ghan has agreed to participate by repelling any Kuo- minchun forces entering Shensi, while the Fengtien generale Kao Wel-yu, the Tutung of Chahar Tang Yu-lin, and the Tutung of Johol Yu Chen, commandant of thes Tenth Army, have been instructed to prosecute a vigorous campaign; against the Kuominchun.
A further brigade of. Fengtien- Ites have also been despatched to Kalgan to participate in the offen- sive.
