ARMY EVENT TO-DAY.

At the conclusion of the Race, HE. Major-General C. C. Luard, the Officer Commanding, will dis- tribute the prizes.

The Lawn Tennis Tournament of the Garrison Recreation Club was concluded yesterday after- noon when, in the presence of Major-General C. C. Luard, C. B., C.M. G., Patron of the Club, and Mrs. Luard, and many officers, the final of the Championship Doubles was played. The finalists were Q.M.S. Turner and Sergt. A. Blodin, R.E., and Staff-Sergt.
