AJUDICATION AGAINST THE RITZ CAFE
In the Bankruptcy Court on. Saturday the Official Receiver, Mr. D. W. Tratman, applied to the Chief Justice for ajudication in the affairs of the Ritz Cafe, pro- prietor Mr. Noel B. Whito. In doing so he said the statement of affaire submitted by the debtor showed a balance of assets but this was not go in fact.
The statement indicated $11,000 assets and $8,900 Habilitios" but the assets had been greatly over- valued by the debtor. The stock in trade had been put down at cost price but oh realisation there would be a tremendous drop in this. It would only roalise about $2,000. The debtor would thus be Insolvent.
The Official Receiver indicated that a receiving order had already been granted...' *
His Lordship made an adjudica tion order, Mr. White, who was present in person, having no objection.
