RE-PLAYED BASEBALL GAME

The Japanese Baseball Club erally defeated the Club de Recreio in their re-played league game at the Happy Valley diamond yesterday. The Japanese scored two runs in the first innings, and six in the second to lead eight-love before the Recreio got fairly started.

When the Recreio were at bat for the last time, D. Botelhoj raced home on a triple error, and prevented white washing. The game at no time reached a high standard, there being some wild throwing by both sides. Only fiye innings were played.
