HEAD OFFICE: HONGKONG,
Mr. J. R. Way proposed that a class for the study of the Morse code should be formed and it was decided to adopt this suggestion if Bank, ca. sufficient members were interested. Sergeant Roberts pointed out that members with a knowledge of the Morse codo were able to listen to many interesting, trans- missions. There were American and French messages and at times these changed over to a different wavelength and used telephony. Members knowing the code could understand the messages and then change over to the telephony traps- missions.

Weekly Meetings. Mr. Taylor pointed out that summer conditions in Hongkong rendered radio reception difficult at times owing to the prevalence of atmospherics. Despite this the transmissions had been very well received and even better results would accrue during the winter. months
Mr. Tollan raised the question of oscillation and said it had been particularly noticeable recently in the vicinity of Jordan Road. He attributed the Interference inexperienced operators bandling powerful receivers.

Mr. Tollan also expressed: con- fidence in the Society being able to get the assistance of local artistes to provide broadcast programmes.
It was also decided to hold an informal meeting, weekly in the Morning Post Building when views on radio topics will be oxchanged,
