REFINERY BLAZE. This remarkable picture" shows $1,500,000 worth of oil going up in smoke at Warron, Pennsylvania, where a big oil refinery caught fire. One of the most unusual pictures of a tre ever talcen, it gives a general view of the conflagration at its height.

STRANGE "FIND".-Coal miners in a safe at Buckley, Virginia, got a shock when they uncovered two stone figures-apparently patified bodies of a man and woman- buried deep in a voin of coal. Scientists from the Smithsonian Institution at Washington are on their,way there to see if the figures are indeed perrified bodies or only remarkably life-like tree trunks.
