THEFT OF GAS.

A HEAVY FINE;

The systematic and continuous theft of gas, by connecting a pipe. to the Gan Company's mains was disclosed recently and, after a search warrant had been applied for, a visit wae made to 938, Canton Road, where it was found that the inmates were using gas without a meter. The person in charge at the timio was arrested by the police and brought before Mr. J. H. B. Nihill at the Kowloon Magistracy on Saturday on charge of theft.
