IMPRESSIVE CEREMONY 'AT MRS. FRASER'S INTERMENT.
The interment of Mrs. J. Fraser at Happy Valley last evening was marked by an impressive ceremony,}} There was a large gathering of friends, at the graveside, Captain Steel, A. D. C. representing H. E, the Governor, and in addition there were a number of Chinese nurses from the Nethersole Hot pital, of which the decensed lady was at one time a prominent member.
The ashes, after cremation, were contained in a plain onken casket, and conveyed to the burial place prior to the commencement of the ceremony, and when the words of the burial service had been read by the Rev. J. Kirk Maconachle. the casket was lowered into the bereaved husband, grave by the assisted by three near friends of the deceased.
Following Mr. Maconachie, the Rev. H. Wells addressed those of the nationality present in Chinese.
