An interesting match between H.M.S. Hermes and the Kowloon Cricket Club was played at Kow- Buon on Thursday and resulted in In victory for the home team by seven wickets.. The Hermes bat ted first and compiled the respoc- table score of 150 for the loss of aeven wickets before declaring, Surg. Lt. Comdr. Greenstreet being the principal scorer with 10, whilst F. 0. Overbury and Lieut. Sillitoe made 34 and 31 respectively.

The Kowloon C. C. made light of the task and knocked off the runs required for the los3 of enly three wickets. Lyn was in splendid form with the bat, scor- ing 6, including ten fours, and being at undefeated, whilst Major Pollard, who has been bat- ting musistently well this season, 'contribura 15 not out.
