Referring to lawn bowls, the Chairman said that in 1921 just before he went home on leave he was entertained to dinner by some of his Craigengower friends and then advised the Club to go in for team play, promising four small cups with the view to encouraging the garne. He was glad to see that Craigengower had profited by his advice and had won the League Championship (Applause).
