Proes Association at the Traca- dero Restaurant, London, last month, came to an abrupt, and owing to the sudden death of the chairman, Mr. George Whale, He was taken ill while his own köalth was boing proposed by Major G. H. Putnam. Four doctors whe were present gave him immediate attention, and he was carried from the room, Major Putnam saying, "I am wishing more than over for the health of my dear friend." The guests were asked to disperse, but before they had all gone Mr. Whale bad died from a heart attack.
