Camel as Watchman.
This is "Rolf von Lungwha," Mr. H. Mollitor's Alsatian dog which by popular vote was awarded tho special champion prize at the recent Shanghai Dog Show. Isn't he the picture of alert intelligonco and keenness ?
Some of the best billiards seen in Shangbai this winter was played at the recent tourna ment at the Club Lusitano between Shanghai and Hongkong anoista. Shanghai won the tournament, but Hongkong furnished the best individual player in Mr. Alberto Osmund (third from left, middle row). Mr. Osmund defeated Mr. R. C. E. Johnson, Shanghai cham- pion, in a special match which followed the tournament.
This camel, which is to be found at the Robert Dollar. Wharf Pootung, was ordered, by one of the teams of Shriners (Seattle Team) dome two years ago. It has since remained at the Wharf, where it has become a great pat with employees and passengers sliko. Quite tame, the animal haa developed into a first-class watchman.

Shangbai's cosmopolitan sportsmen and sportswomen turned out in large numbers to witness exhibition games at the Country Club in which Messrs. H. Kinsey and B. Snodgrass, the two American tounis stara, played. Here are some pictures snapped at the games. The top pictures show sections of the crowd. Brown, the hardworking secretary of the Shanghal Lawn Tennis Association, walks on the court.
