The King of the Belgians unveiled at Zeebrugge the memorial to the man who died at the storming of the Mole on St. George's Day, 1918. Our photograph shows the scene at the arrival of the Royal party. The cruiser, Caledon, in which survivors of the exploit were taken to Zeebrugge, can be seen moored to the Mole. la the foreground, to the right of the memorial, is one of the guna which formed part of the Gor- man defence of the canal entrance to the Submarine base at Bruges. The 17th of May, the anniversary of Norway's Declaration, was celebrated in Shanghai by a merry dinner party at the Plaza Hotel, when about 75 guests. dined in a specially decorated private ballroom. Several speeches were given and the programme was faterspersed with humorous songs composed for the occasion, Daucing and various forms of entertaloment finished a most successful party which had been organized by the committee of the Norvegians in Shanghal Nordmanda- Forbundel The photographer has secured a flue group of the merrymakers posed before the flag of Norway.

Chinese Wedding.
The Moore Memorial Church at Sbanghal was the scope of a pretty Chinese wedding when Miss Helen Dong, who la fnterested fo educational work, became the bride of Mr. H. Y. Chong, of the Finance Department of the Shangbai Municipal Council. The Wedding March was played by Mias Chow Mal-yuln, and Miss Lola Wondt rendered appropriate solos. Miss Toang Vung-sung was the bridesmaid and the Misses Cheng Chung and Elat Hou were tıslobsärer and, flover girl respectively. Mr. Titus Chang accome pauled the bridegrooth as best man,
