This season's annual smoking concert and prize presentation at the Shanghal Junior Golf Club was an unusually jovial event, due to the presence of some exceptionally elevor entertaining "talont," including Messrs. Cavo and Melsa. Others who took part is the entertaining were: Messrs. H. Rogerson, at the piano; W. Araher, songs and recitations; G. B. Stormes, conjuring: F. A. Dearn, violin; C. J. Van Hoy et, songs and monologuo; W. A. Scott, "Billy" Tingle, F. G. Rouwick, J. Wobb, H. Chrimes and C. T. Parsons. Mr. J. B. Ferrier, captain of the Shanghai Golf Club, prosented the prizes. Mr. Charles H. Hopkins, captain of the Junior Golf Club, was in the chair, supported by Mr. P. W. Ephgrave, Hon. Seorotary, and Mr. H. Goto.
