McNeely, the first, man up for the World Champlon Senatore, kisses the first ball pitched in the oponing game of the 1925 pennant chase, for a sharp liner, on which he was thrown out at first. Steve O'Neill, Yankee catcher, is the man behind MoNoely. Baseball players will probably understand all about it.

A bundred buildings were demolished, one person was killed and many hurt after
a fireworks explosion in the plant of the National Fireworks Co. at Hanover, Mass. The photo shows part of the wreckage of the plant.

Parish Students* Strike.
Fifteen thousand Paris students struck as a protest against the closing by the Government of the law school of the Sorbonne. They staged a vast parade, starting at the law school and passing the home of the suspended dean of the school, M. Barthelemy.
