Sir John Jordan in a letter to the Times calls attention to the continued 'importation of large quantities of contraband narcotics into China and says that the calculated amount of these narcotics smuggled into China for several years past is not less than thirty times the amount required to supply the whole of the country's legitimate needs.-Router.
