The annual athletic sports of the Sacred Heart English School wore held at Happy Valley yesterday, and proved to be a great success. There was a large gathering of parents and friends of the pupils.

The officials had a by no means Hight task in carrying out a lengthy programme of over 30 races and it spoke volumes for the excellent organization and arrangements that not the slightest hitch marred races the proceedings. All the were keenly contested, with close finishes in many of them.
