SINKING SHIP.-This is a romarkable picture of a ship going down at sea. It was the motorship James Timpion, caught in a hurricane in the Gulf of Mexico between New Orleans and Golba, Honduras, Twenty-two officers and men of iis crew were rescued by the liner Atlantida.

PEACE CONFERENCE-This picture shows a peace conterence in session in Berlin. The mesting was called the 23rd World Peace, Congress. Representatives from several European nations were present. Senator Fredinand Bulason of France is seen hera addressing the delegates. Other speakers the same day were Professor Quiddo, German pacifist; Senator Heary La Fontaine, France, and Fridtjof Nansen, Norweign polar explorer, educator and diplomat.
