There is the instance of a shopkeeper who recently bought fifty million marks of imperial War Bonds for $375 which have just realised $87,500, War Bonds which a year ago were 85 have advanced to $1,750, Prussian three and as half per cont. Consols from $400 to $4,000, and Berlin four per cent. bonds from $500 to 1,200. The rise. is attributed to a renewal of confidence in Germany in consequence of the Dawes plan.--Reuter,
