and I am of opinion
that the Governor with
the advice
of
the Executive
Council should have
the power of granting
a small alimentary
Allowance
pending
the
decision of
the State, in
the case of any person
who has been interdicted
to such an extent as to need
such assistance.
A Regulation to this
effect will be inserted
in the
4th Chapter
of the Colonial Regulations
and
in the meantime
you will
be at
liberty
to act in accordance
with the view above
expressed if in any
case you
think it
right to do
so.
