and I am of opinion

that the Governor with

the advice

of

the Executive

Council should have

the power of granting

a small alimentary

Allowance

pending

the

decision of

the State, in

the case of any person

who has been interdicted

to such an extent as to need

such assistance.

A Regulation to this

effect will be inserted

in the

4th Chapter

of the Colonial Regulations

and

in the meantime

you will

be at

liberty

to act in accordance

with the view above

expressed if in any

case you

think it

right to do

so.
