But I need hardly remark that if half Salary had been drawn during the period between the date of suspension and its Confirmation, it would be impossible in the case of Clerks drawing small salaries, to recover what the Regulations lay down the several Rules on the subject No 87-91.

By Rule N: 89 it seems to be contemplated that half Salary might be paid to an Officer under suspension, and yet if the suspension is confirmed by Her Majesty's Government, he is not to be entitled to any portion of salary.
