245 That about 35 seats are set apart for the use of the Staff and the officers of the Garrison exclusive of sittings for the rank and file entirely free of charge.

And 4th that the Troops furnish a portion of the expenses of the Cathedral sermons or the cost of running the Punkahs during their services in the summer months.
401 The Trustees under these Circumstances reasonably consider that they should obtain an annual contribution of Five hundred Dollars for the purposes of the Cathedral... this sum would of course be accounted for by the four Trustees annually appointed by His Excellency the Governor, and the two Trustees elected by the Seat holders under the provisions of clause 2 of Ordinance 2 of 1847.
