I only observe large increases
of Salary. They
are perhaps not worth
noticing, but I annex draft in case you should deem them to deserve observation.
Such as I have been obliged to delay this for some time, partly on account of the time it occupies, and partly because I required estimates, which were in circulation.
Magrell just notices the items in the draft.

I have received your despatch No. 109 of the 7th inst., transmitting the usual Quarterly Returns up to the 31st of March last. I observe nothing in these returns which calls for remark with the exception of a slight increase (which I have noted in the margin) in the Salaries.
