The three months' strike at the textile factory "Filature" Was settled a fortnight ago by the intervention of the Governor, but the operatives yesterday repudiated the agreement. One thousand of them remained in the factory all night, the women bringing with them their food. The men declare they will run the works on their own account and have formed a'species of Soviet Operatives Egelin Cotton- seed Factory and are behaving like Soviets. The situation is causing uneasiness as Nationalist intrigues are suspected. Zaglul has been ta the asked, to intervene. A battalion of troops has been seat "Filature whose owners insist on a lockout.
Later.
The operatives of the "Filature" works have walked out, probably owing to having heard of the Government's determination to ejezt them forcibly-Rexter.
