with a view to arriving

at

some idea of its correctness.

"The Surveyor General

submitted a plan which, having

been considered suitable by the

Harbor Master,

was

approved by

the Committee, and it was ascertained that

a Contractor

of

the name of

Atan would

undertake the work,

viz., the erection of the building above ground for Fifteen Thousand Dollars ($15,000), while another,

named Yune-Leey

would do

it at Twelve

Thousand Dollars ($12,000), the work

to be according to specification,

and hardwood to be used throughout: these figures included the

expense of removing the old building, and the Contractor was to be allowed to make

use

of the old materials as

the Surveyor

General might

approve.

The

Committee find, from the Surveyor

General's report,

that the foundation can

be laid at the

cost of Fifteen

Thousand Dollars ($15,000), while

it will probably cost considerably
