CONCLUSION OF THE INQUEST.

The inquest on Messrs. John Edmund Wilson, Thomas Moodie and C. W. Donaldson, three of the

victims of the turbine accident at the Riverside Power station on the morning of November 15, was concluded at the British Police Court in Shangbai November 23.

After evidence had been given by several witnesses, including a Chinese fitter who was standing seven feet away from the turbine when the accident occurred, but escaped death miraculously, Mr.- G. W. King, Coroner, retumed a verdict that the men met their deaths as a result of accident.
