CLUB DEFEATS NAVY. The Club and the Navy met on the Club's ground at Happy Valley on Saturday. The match resulted in a win for the Club by two tries (6 points) to a try.

The game was fast throughout, and interesting to the spectators. From the kick-off, the Club for- wards were on the attack, and it looked as if a try were imminent Even-

in the first two minutes. tually, however, the ball was touched down by Jordain, að a result of following up, and con- sequently being in the right place at the right time.

Logan failed to convert from a difficult angle. From this period on to half-time, the Club had most of the play. Their forwards; were exceptionally good in the loose, and had the best of it in.
