Vote of $500 to clear off building debt on St Stephen's Church (Roman Catholic)
Report of Sir Ebden
(Minutes)
The Colony is not in very flourishing circumstances, but it can afford this expenditure, if you deem it ecclesiastically sound.

Mr. Herbert
$2500 was granted towards the building of this church which has come into use.
As there is no grant in the M.C. for salaries and the Anglicans received a grant of $5000 for the repair of the Cathedral, perhaps Lord Kimberley will not object to a proposed additional small grant of $300 (£100) towards the building of this church.
