on full pay to Mr Stanley Ernest Wodehouse, Government Interpreter, Superintendent of the Chinese Contingent of the Hong Kong Police Force and Sheriff of Hong Kong, as shown by the enclosed Certificate, with permission to apply to your Lordship for 12 months' Leave of absence on half Salary at the expiration of the Leave granted.
I shall hereafter report the arrangements made for the due performance of Mr Wodehouse's Offices; and in the meantime hope for your Lordship's approval of vacation Leave granted him.
