Judgment on Question
of Notice.
An interesting suit that has been before the Chief Justice, Sir William Rees Davies, is that of! the Yick On Bank, of 77, Bonham Strand West, against Yugn Hang| Kia of the Tai Ping Theatre, Hongkong, being a claim for loss on the realisation of sharos, de- posited as security for loans to the defendant. Defendant, con- tending that he had insufficient notice of the sale, counterclaims for damages, which he assesses at the net amount of $7,609.74, This morning his Lordship de- livered. His finding on two of the points at issue.
