Paris, August 30. The papers sympathise with Italy's indignation, but consider her action too precipi' ate.
Paris, August 30 --- The Ambassadors' Conferance has decided to telegraph to the British, French and Italian Governments, asking them, in view of the gravity of the situation, to join in an energetic protest against the assassinatione in A binis, and inviting the Greek Government to open an inquiry.
London, August 30.
It is stated here that the Ambassadors' Conference Note, men tioned earlier, has been dispatched to Greece. The general impres- | sion in responsible quarters to London is that Itals has been rather hanty, and the terms, of the ultimatum are unduly severe.
London, Lator.
It is consid. red in Loudon that a Note will also be sent to Italy urging great moderation towards Greece in view of the dangerous possibilities of the situation.

RED CROSS DISPUTE.
Americans Refuse to Attend Conference.
Genova, August 30. The opening of the elventh International Red Cross Conference was noteworthy for the absence of American Red Cross representa tives. It appears that the American delegates who are at present in Paris are aggrieved by a report by the International Red Cr188 Committee warning the Conference that money should not be the preponderant influence in the Conference decisions.
M. Gustava Ador, the President, in a speech said while they are most grateful for American Red Cross generosity they insisted on equal rights for all societies, and only moral, not financial considera. tion abould count when the Conference considered the question of the fusion of the Geneva organisations with the new Paris League of Red Cross Bocieties.
A telegram was received by the Conference to-day from Mr. Bicknell, head of the American delegates, who declared that the latter would not attend at Geneva unless the Conference repudiated the International Committee's report.
