Some Further Revelations.
The first volume of Mr. Wins-
Churchill's "The World- Crisis" has led to some dis closures by Mr. F. G. Master- man, who

the Duchy of Lancaster and thus Mr. Churchill's colleague during the first two years of the war. Mr. Masterman ac- cuses Mr. Churchill of trying to draw Holland and Norway into the conflict and also of being anti-American. Churchill is said to bare advocated action questions which are still of such delicacy that Mr. Masterman pre- fers not to say what they are, leading Lord (then Mr. Arthur) Balfour to declare that "Winston must be insace."
Churchill states in his book' that be telegraphed home from Antwerp suggesting that be be given the command of the troops there, but Mr. Masterman states that the meassage actually sept by Churchill was a very different one. "It WES * request that he be allowed to re- sien bis position in the Admiralty to take charge of all British trooper -1 am not sure it was not all Allied troops in the lowlands- inspired no doubt by the memory of his great ancestor.
