IRISH BARRISTERS IN ENGLAND.

A Result of the Irish Disorders. A further influx into England of Irish refugee" barristers is shown by the lists of those to be called to the English Bar during the last month..

Among them are two K.C.'s, who are to be called at Gray's Inn.

Members of the Irish Bar are flocking to England in ever-incre- asing numbers through the break- down of the judicial system in their own country. Quite a num- ber of them are able to do this with little or no formality, by rea- son of their being already mom-. bers of the Bar in this country as well as their own. For those who are not so qualified special facili ties bave been made by the Eag lish Bar Council, and at some Ions they have to eat only one dinner sod Deed pass no examination.

But on some of the circuits, and notably in Liverpool, where there. isa large Irish population, the mat- ter is serious for young man who: are trying to build up practices.

Serjeant Sullivan, KC, the last of the old Serjeants, is the most notable example of these newcomers, who, with ruined
