The announcement of the im- pending retirement of Rev. Dr. G. H. Bondeld. D.P., the old and respected agent in China of the British and Foreign Bible Society,, was made at the annual meeting of the Hongkong Auxiliary held in the Helena May Institute tast evening.
Commodore H. E. Grace, R.N., presided and supporting him on the platform were the Rev. Dr. Bond! feld, the Rev. G: W. Sheppard and the Rev. Dr. T. W. Pearce. Lady Stubbs was among those piesent.
