is issuing a Prospectus dated the 23rd day of March 1923, copy of which has been filed with the Registerar of Companies, invit- ing subscriptions et par for 70,000 shares of $10 each payable a to $2.50 per share on application and to the balance on subsequent Idemand as and when further

(4) Tais Company has been formed principally to acquire by purchase (under, the terms of the Option and subsequent correspondence thereon hereinafter mentioned) from Laze Crawford Limited (whose Registered Office is situate at Ice House Street, Victoria; Hongkong) and develop by building thereon the land registered in the Land Office as Section A of Marine Lot No. 7 and commonly known as "The Wiseman Site" situate in Des Vœux Road Central Hongkong. The purchase price of the land is $1,000,000, 3300,000 of which will be satisfied by the issue to Lane Crawford Limited of 20,000 shares of the Company credit- ed as fully paid up. Of the remainder of the purchase price, $148,781.50 will be paid in cash, and the balance of 3551,218.50 will be satisfied by the taking over by the Company from Lane Crawford Limited of the Mortgage (repayable on the 30th April, 1927) for that amount'new subsisting on the property in favour of Lane Crawford fimited and carrying interest at 8% per annum,
