In the House of Commcas, the Chancellor of the Exchequer, Mr. Stanley Baldwin, moved the financial resolution, authorising in amendment to the Trade Facilities Act. The amendment' is to increase the aggregate amount of loans guaranteeable to £50,000,000, guaranteeing the Austrian Loan, arranged by the League of Nations and the Sudan Government Irrigation Loan.
