Mr. Tang Kang, President of the Supreme Court in Peking, in an interview given out here to-day, said that although the Government in China has necessarily an uphill task, it is doing reconstructive work. He intimated his intention on his return to urge Government to establish Fublicity Department, charged with making the actual condition of Caina known to Western Peoples in the latter's language.

He said he had arrived at the conclusion that a mistake had been made in adopting the Continental method of Judicial Procedure in China. He favoured the adoption of English methods.
