PROSPECTUS. -
(a) This Company has been formed principally to promote the use of reinforced concrete in building and engineer- ing work generally. This form of building material is greatly in favour in Europe and America for its cheapness and the saving in time in erection. It should be especially in demand in tropical places owing to its great resistance to the deleterious influence of the climate and to the attacks of insects such as white- ante, etc. It seems therefore an ideal material for Hongkong as a substitute for the expensive and often Houses are inferior materials at present in use, particularly scarce in Hongkong at the present time and there should be no lack of work for a Company such as this. The Company has already large contrazia in view both for fresh work and work in process of construction which it hopes to secure. The Company is empowerex by its Memorandum of Association to do all kinds of engineering, building and architectural work and for the objects it has in view a large capital will eventually be required.
The Company has acquired as a going concern es from the 13th day of September, 1932 the business of Louis Gain, of St. George's Bulldings, Victoria, Hongkong, Arobitect, Civil Engineer, Consulting and Structural Engineer and Reinforced Concrete Expert the purchase price for which will be paid and satisfied by the allotment to bim of Five hundred shares of the Company credited as folly paid up. Of these Four Landred and fifty shares are for the goodwill of the raid butiness. The contract for the acquisition of this business is dated the 21st day of October, 1922 and made between the said Louis Gain of the one part and Walter John Hawker as Trastes for the Company of the other part. A copy of this contract can be inspected at the office of the Solicitors to the Company at any time during business hours.

(c) The shares now offered for sub-cription have been Duderwritten by the Direators and Sir Catchick Paul Chater, KT.. C.MG and Mr. James Harper faggart for a commission at the rate of Two per cent, on the amount thereof in proportion to the shares tiken by them for which they have subscribed the Memorandum of Associ– ation and such commission is payable by the Cofu, any. (d) No other commission or promotion measy will be paid
by the Company.
(e) The Company is to pay the preliminary expenses of and incident to the formation and floating of the Cam- pary down to the time when it becomes entitled to commence business and the estimated amount thereof in 25,100,
(f) The Articles of Araociation provide that the qualifica- tion of a Director is to be the holding of 1,000 shares in the Company and that the remuneration of esch'of...... the Directors is to b. $1,000 per annum.
