I have the honour to acknowledge the receipt of your despatch of the 11th of February transmitting Acts of Parliament and its enclosure from the Superintendent of the Peninsular and Oriental Steam Navigation Company regarding the duration of voyages between Hongkong and Singapore, raising the question raised by your letter to us.

The question is whether the fact that the Company's boats make the voyage...
